Classification of fasteners

In construction engineering, fasteners are mainly used to connect steel pipe scaffolding with an outer diameter of 48mm, divided into three types. Right-angle fasteners fix vertically crossed steel pipes (e.g., vertical poles and horizontal poles); swivel fasteners enable arbitrary-angle connection of steel pipes, commonly used at diagonal tie rods; butt-joint fasteners are for extending parallel steel pipes, such as when vertical poles need lengthening. Each type plays its role to ensure scaffold structural stability.
